Skopje, 31 March 2024 (MIA) - DUI's presidential candidate, Bujar Osmani, on Sunday presented European Front leaders with a Decalogue containing his ten commitments as a presidential candidate. 

Leaders of political parties that are part of the European Front, including DUI's Ali Ahmeti, DPA leader Menduh Thaçi, AA's Ziadin Sela, People's Movement leader Skender Rexhepi, European Democratic Party leader Arijanit Hoxha, Democratic Party of Turks leader Beycan Iljas and Union of Roma leader Fatima Osmanovska attended Sunday's event.  

Osmani presented the program's three basic principles, from which the ten commitments derive. The basic pillars include the country's geostrategic orientation compass, the connective tissue of the ethnic and political narratives, as well as the role of creator of the state consensus.

Presidential candidate Osmani then explained each of the ten commitments he says he will fulfill if elected president of the country.

Osmani's commitments include integration in the EU by 2030, electing country's president in Parliament, partnership and strategic dialogue with the United States, setting up an international board with the United States, the EU and NATO for the certification of all public office holders, strengthening the Army in accordance with NATO standards, proper international establishment through foreign policy, keeping young people in the country, education and innovation, as well as the green agenda. 

European Front leaders at Sunday's meeting agreed to inclusion in the Program of key issues of strategic importance for the country and signed a Declaration in support of Osmani's Decalogue, reads the press release.
