Skopje, 27 July 2023 (MIA) - Ambassador David Geer, Head of the Delegation of the European Union will visit the Municipality of Debar on Thursday.

This is the eight in the series of town hall visits following the opening of the EU accession negotiations with North Macedonia in July 2022. The purpose of the visits is to present the new steps in the EU accession negotiations process and their impact on citizens’ everyday life, the EU Delegation said in a press release.

During his stay in Debar, Ambassador Geer will meet with the Mayor of Debar Dr Hekuran Duka, the members of the Municipal Council and representatives of the civil society organisations.

He will also take part in a coffee debate with citizens in order to answer to questions related to the European path of North Macedonia.
