Skopje, 28 January 2024 (MIA) – The European Union’s Ambassador to North Macedonia, David Geer, congratulated Talat Xhaferi on his election as Prime Minister in the caretaker Government in a post on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter. 

“Congratulations to PM Xhaferi upon his election as Prime Minister. We look forward to close cooperation with him and the new government at this important time in relations between North Macedonia and the EU,” wrote Geer on Sunday.
