Skopje, 25 April 2023 (MIA) - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan presented Tuesday a medal to the Macedonian rescuers who took part in the search and rescue operations in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake in Turkey at the beginning of February.

Protection and Rescue Directorate (PRD) deputy director Zulfiqar Zejnulai received the medal at the event, also attended by North Macedonia's Ambassador to Turkey, Jovan Manasijevski.

The PRD teams were joined by the Army in the search and rescue operations.
