Skopje, 25 September 2025 (MIA) - Total gross electricity production in July was 458 478 MWh, or 8.8 percent more than the gross domestic electricity consumption, said the State Statistical Office on Thursday.

Total consumption by types of energy commodities was: 421 489 МWh of electricity, 25.599 million nm3 of natural gas, 357 665 tonnes of coal and 112 946 tonnes of petroleum products.

Gross national electricity production participated with 100 percent in gross national electricity consumption, while 99.9% of the total national consumption of coals was used for generation of electricity.
