Skopje, 25 July 2024 (MIA) - The Economic Chamber presented Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski with an award for building partnership and joint action for a prosperous Macedonia, at an event Thursday which marked 102 years since the Chamber’s establishment.

The Chamber’s President, Brank Azeski, said Mickoski supported the business sector even when he was in the opposition.

“This is a great honor, but also a responsibility. Over the past 30 days we’ve worked hard to do something. We are working patriotically, what is in the interest of the citizens is our interest as well,” Mickoski said accepting the award.

Earlier at the event, the PM vowed that transparency and accountability will be a priority for the Government and underscored that it will remain a partner to the business community.

“We intend to be your partner and to assist you. I want to assure you of that. Miracles are impossible, but what is possible, we will do within the Constitution and the law. It is in our interest for the domestic economy to develop,” Mickoski stressed.
