Berlin, 9 July 2021 (dpa/MIA) – The Dutch referee Bjorn Kuipers will officiate the Euro 2020 final between Italy and England on Sunday, continental football ruling body UEFA has said. The 48-year-old Kuipers has previously refereed three matches at the tournament and will become the first official from the Netherlands to oversee the Euro final. Germany’s Bastian Dankert, 41, will assist Kuipers as video assistant at London’s Wembley Stadium, UEFA also said on Thursday.
