Skopje, 6 March 2024 (MIA) - The Directorate for Technological-Industrial Development Zones (DTIDZ) and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) will sign Wednesday a memorandum of cooperation on joint activities for promotion of investment opportunities between the two countries.

The memorandum, signed on occasion of the 30th anniversary from the establishment of bilateral ties, aims to enhance cooperation among Japanese and Macedonian companies in several sectors and attract Japanese investors in North Macedonia.

Deputy PM for Economic Affairs Fatmir Bytyqi and Economy Minister Kreshnik Bekteshi are set to attend the memo signing event.

A delegation from Japan is currently paying a visit to North Macedonia, including representatives of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, JETRO and several companies.
