Skopje, 30 October 2025 (MIA) - Distribution of the ballots for the November 2 mayoral runoff will begin on Thursday, the State Election Commission (SEC) has told MIA.

Mayors will be elected in 32 municipalities and the City of Skopje, whereas a revote will take place in three polling stations in Shuto Orizari municipality.

SEC has accredited 1,569 observers to monitor the voting process, of whom 904 domestic and 651 foreign observers, along with 14 foreign journalists.

Voting in the municipalities of Gostivar, Vrapchishte, Centar Zhupa and Mavrovo-Rostushe, where the first round was scrapped due to low turnout, will be administered after SEC releases the final results of the local elections.
