Skopje, 14 December 2025 (MIA) - There is no room in Macedonia for opening migrant camps, the leader of the ZNAM Movement – For Our Macedonia, Maksim Dimitrievski said Sunday.

At the end of his address on the occasion of ZNAM’s two-year anniversary, Dimitrievski emphasized that the other coalition partners share the same position.

“Macedonia ended its migrant story in 2000, with the conclusion of the Kosovo crisis. There is no room for opening migrant camps in Macedonia. ZNAM will never give support, and the other coalition partners in the government share the same position,” Dimitrievski noted.

Earlier today, VMRO-DPMNE parliamentary group coordinator Nikola Micevski stated that his party publicly rejects the policies and decisions of the former Zoran Zaev government, which, as he pointed out, allowed for the establishment of migrant camps against national and state interests.
