Washington, 14 October 2021 (MIA) – The United States and Greece held the third round of the Strategic Dialogue, signing a revised Mutual Defence Cooperation Agreement within the bilateral strategic partnership. In his remarks at the ceremony in the U.S. State Department, FM Dendias highlighted Greece’s responsibility to ensure the EU integration of the Western Balkans. “Greece, being the first South-East European country to join the European Union, has also an increased responsibility to ensure the integration of the Western Balkans into the European family. So as to promote stability and prevent forces that want to turn the clock backwards to dominate this volatile region,” said Dendias.
