Dendias and Borrell discuss developments in Western Balkans, EU’s role in phone call
Athens, 29 September 2022 (MIA) – Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias and the EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, spoke over the phone on Thursday, MIA’s Athens correspondent reports.
“I spoke over the phone with the EU’s High Representative Josep Borrell about developments in the Western Balkans and the EU’s role, stressing Greece’s readiness to actively contribute to the region’s stabilization. The EU should contribute by respecting the principle of inclusiveness of all EU member states,” Dendias posted on Twitter.
In a phone call earlier on Thursday, the Greek FM also exchanged views with the EU’s Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue, Miroslav Lajčák, on the state of play in terms of the dialogue and on broader developments in the Western Balkans.
