Skopje, 24 July 2022 (MIA) – The Democratic Forces of the Roma party held its annual assembly attended by VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski, who expressed gratitude ‘for the loyalty’ of the party, which is part of the VMRO-DPMNE-led coalition.
“Once again, I am very grateful I have been given the honor to be part of the annual assembly of the Democratic Forces of Roma,” Mickoski said ahead of the meeting.
“I hope that what we discuss today and what I will hear here today will be for my benefit as well as for the benefit of the Democratic Forces of the Roma party led by Dr. Shaban Saliu. Such events can only make us better,” the VMRO-DPMNE head said.
Democratic Forces of Roma leader Shaban Saliu announced a discussion on the possibilities for a snap election and forming a new, “more efficient and better" government.
“Today we’d like to discuss the possibilities for early parliamentary elections and the possibilities of us acting together in the future to form, more quickly and more efficiently, a new Parliament and a more efficient and better Government than this one,” Saliu said.
“I believe that our coalition led by VMRO-DPMNE will improve the quality and life of everyone, including the Roma, as the poorest, most uneducated and most endangered,” he said.
Party members and representatives of its 44 municipal branches nationwide are taking part in the meeting. mr/
