Skopje, 12 August 2024 (MIA) — Minister of Defense Vlado Misajlovski received Monday Romanian Ambassador Monica Axinte and Romanian Defense Attaché Colonel Archip Katalin Petre.

According to the Ministry of Defense in a press release, meeting participants confirmed the successful cooperation between the two allied countries.

Minister Misajlovski thanked the Romanian diplomats on the help Romania provided the country in fighting the wildfires by sending two firefighting aircraft and crews of firefighters.

Meeting participants also talked about regional cooperation, highlighting its importance for the stability of the region.

They considered ways of boosting defense cooperation through an exchange of experts in public relations, crisis situation management, defense law as well as through professional training. mr/
