Skopje, 24 April 2023 (MIA) – Minister of Defense Slavjanka Petrovska welcomed her Austrian counterpart Klaudia Tanner to Skopje with the highest state and military honors at a ceremony Monday.

According to a press release by the Ministry of Defense, after the welcome ceremony, the two ministers held a face-to-face meeting, which was followed by a meeting of the two delegations.

“The topics of discussion at the meeting are the defense cooperation between Austria and North Macedonia and the opportunities for its deepening, the issue of the Western Balkan’s European integration, as well as the current security developments and the situation in the region,” said the Ministry of Defense in the press release.
