Ohrid, 1 June 2025 (MIA) - Macedonian athletes Dario Ivanovski and Frosina Mihajlovska, in the men's and women's competition respectively, are the winners of the half marathon at the 9th edition of the Ohrid Running Weekend.

Ivanovski ran the 21K race in 1:08:53, one minute better than his record in last year's race. Miroslav Spasov from Bulgaria came in second, and Muxhahid Mislimi from Macedonia was third.

In the women's competition, Macedonian runner Tea Bozhinovska came in second, and Hungarian runner Csilla Bognár was third.

In the men's 5K race, Kosta Petrovski crossed the finish line first, followed by Grigorijan Nikovski and Ilir Kelezi.

Darija Krstevska from Macedonia triumphed in the women's 5K race, followed by Macedonian runner Emili Ivanovska and Lazarina Hristova from Bulgaria (25:37).

The AK "Vranjski maratonci" team won in the half-marathon relay race in the men's competition, followed by "Cirbu Cirbu" and "PowerfitbyEp". "Atomic" won in the mixed relay competition, followed by "Bitola Trcha" and AK "7 Noemvri" from Gevgelija.

Over 2,400 runners from around 30 countries participated in this year's Ohrid Running weekend event.
