Skopje, 30 September 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Culture and Tourism Zoran Ljutkov met with Montenegro Minister of Culture and Media Tamara Vujović on the sidelines of the second ministerial meeting of Western Balkans Steering Platforms, held in Skopje on Friday.

Minister Ljutkov and Vujović agreed that bilateral cooperation in the field of culture is excellent and open for enhancement, highlighting the significance of the 2023-2026 cooperation agreement between the two ministries that ensures intensive collaboration, especially in the fields of music and film, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism said in a press release.

The ministers agreed that reproductive artists and ensembles are regularly touring festivals and events in both countries, with Montenegro seeking support in the field of heritage protection.

Interlocutors also referred to multilateral cooperation, with Vujović inviting Ljutkov to take part at the meeting of the Council of Ministers of Culture of South-East Europe (CoMoCoSEE) by the end of November, reads the press release.
