Skopje, 15 July 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Culture and Tourism Zoran Ljutkov met Monday with European Union Ambassador David Geer, expressing gratitude for the cooperation in the culture sector and the support to the country's Euro-integration process.

Minister Ljutkov and Ambassador Geer stressed that cooperation would continue in the future, focusing on support in protecting cultural heritage, exchange of ideas, values and traditions that play an essential role in building a common European area, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism said in a press release.

Interlocutors agreed that integration of the tourism sector in the ministry is of exceptional importance, contributing to the development of creative and cultural industries.

Ambassador Geer provided support to the ministry's policies while highlighting programme "Creative Europe 2021-2027", reads the press release.
