Cultural Information Center's “Linking” exhibit to open at Sofia for 10th anniversary
- Group art exhibit "Meeting of the Tenth Kind" will open on Tuesday at 6:30 pm at the ‘Akademija’ gallery at the Bulgarian National Academy of Art in Sofia. The exhibit is the result of the cooperation between the Cultural Information Center of North Macedonia and Bulgarian National Academy of Art, and is part of the project "Linking" which marks its ten-year anniversary in 2023.

Skopje, 11 July 2023 (MIA) - Group art exhibit "Meeting of the Tenth Kind" will open on Tuesday at 6:30 pm at the ‘Akademija’ gallery at the Bulgarian National Academy of Art in Sofia. The exhibit is the result of the cooperation between the Cultural Information Center of North Macedonia and Bulgarian National Academy of Art, and is part of the project "Linking" which marks its ten-year anniversary in 2023.
The event marks the beginning and the 30th anniversary since the establishment of diplomatic relations between North Macedonia and Bulgaria, the Cultural Information Centre said in a press release.
Participating artists are: Gordana Vrencoska, Dejan Ivanov-Margush, Jana Maneva-Chuposka, Bedi Ibrahim, Marijana Ivanova, Perica Geogiev-Pepsi, Pavel Celkoski, Marjan Dzingarov, Ivo Pecov, Nenaad Mikikj, Zoran Mishe, Momchil Mirchev, Svilen Stefanov, Rosen Toshev, Ricardo Quaresma Vieira, Walter Prratash, and Zoltan Ferenc.
The exhibit is composed of over 50 works from drawing, graphics, painting, sculpture, photography, digital graphics and video art.
For lovers of fine art, the exhibit will be open until 30 July, 2023.
The "Linking" exhibit by the Cultural Information Centre, which was first opened in 2012, skipping only 2013, has produced art exhibitions until today, and over time the list of authors has increased and enriched.
The base group "Connection" composed of artists from North Macedonia that live and work in Bulgaria, has gradually started to include artists who actively create art in North Macedonia, as well as Bulgarian artists who have a clear creative path.
In 2023, the exhibition will include Romanian and Portuguese artists. ssh/ik/
