Croatian Guitar Quartet to perform at Philharmonic

Skopje, 28 May 2024 (MIA) — Croatian Guitar Quartet, consisting of Zoran Dukić, Petrit Çeku, Maroje Brčić and Tvrtko Sarić, will give a concert at the Philharmonic featuring works by Luigi Boccherini, Antonio Vivaldi, Astor Piazzolla, Rafet Rudi, Miroslav Miletić, Gordan Tudor, Sergei Prokofiev, and Zoran Juranić.
The four guitar players held their first concert together in 2016. Since then, they have toured Croatia, Italy, Slovenia, and the Czech Republic. They received the Croatian Radio Television's Orlando award for their concert at the Dubrovnik Summer Festival in 2017.
In 2020, they named their ensemble Croatian Guitar Quartet and released the two-time Porin-nominated album "Guitarrismo" under the Croatia Records label. Their second album, "Bagatelles for Home Use" was released in 2022 under the Cantus label.
They perform guitar works from various eras, highlighting Croatian composers. mr/
