Skopje, 14 March 2025 (MIA) - A Skopje-based Criminal Court ordered 30-day detention for Asmir Jahoski, owner of oil company Pucko Petrol, in relation to an investigation into the procurement of oil derivatives for thermal power plant (TEC) Negotino, amending a previous order for 30 days of house arrest.
The Court amended the previous decision following an appeal by the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office for Prosecuting Crime and Corruption. It said the 30-day detention was issued due to flight risk and circumstances pointing that Jahoski could obstruct the investigation by influencing witnesses.
The decision can be appealed at the Appellate Court in Skopje.
