COVID-19: 53 new cases, 103 recoveries
Skopje, 23 September 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia recorded 53 new COVID-19 cases after 546 tests were performed in the past 24 hours, no deaths were reported, while 103 patients recovered, the Health Ministry said on Friday. Of the new cases, 22 were registered in Skopje, followed by Ohrid – 5, Prilep – 4, Kavadarci – 4, Bitola – 3, Veles – 3, Tetovo – 2, Shtip – 2, Resen – 2, Kumanovo – 1, Gostivar – 1, Gevgelija – 1, Negotino – 1, Kriva Palanka – 1, and Kratovo – 1. According to the e-registry of COVID-19 fatalities, one patient from Skopje (aged 82) died on September 10. At the moment, 570 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,165,679 tests, recording 342,519 COVID-19 cases and 332,422 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,527.
