Skopje, 11 March 2023 (MIA) - Exports and jobs in technological industrial development zones (TIDZ) continued to rise in February. Companies in the zones realized exports exceeding EUR 330 million, which represents a 20-percent rise compared to January and on the same level when compared to February 2022.

Imports have also seen an increase, with the EUR 270 million in February representing a 22-percent rise compared to the previous month, but down 10 percent when compared to February 2022.

The number of employees in the zones has reached 16,500, which represents a 14-percent rise compared to February 2022, shows a regular monthly analysis.

TIDZ finished 2022 with 2,300 new jobs and EUR 3.7 billion in exports, the highest on record.
