Skopje, 25 August 2025 (MIA) - The Crisis Management Center said Monday it registered seven wildfires in the country, two of which are still active, two are under control, while three have been fully extinguished.

Active fires are burning near the village of Dolgaec in the Municipality of Dolneni, and in the Municipality of Krushevo, where a landfill is burning near the town’s entrance.

Wildfires in Jasen in the Municipality of Makedonski Brod and on Kozhuf Mountain in the Municipality of Gevgelija are under control.

According to the CMC, fires have been extinguished in the municipalities of Shtip, Debar, and Kumanovo.
