CMC: Out of 28 wildfires, 3 still active and 1 under control
Skopje, 31 July 2025 (MIA) – The Crisis Management Center (CMC) said early Thursday it has registered a total of 28 wildfires in the country in the past 24 hours, of which 3 are still active, one is under control, while 24 have been extinguished.
The wildfire on Goten mountain, located between the municipalities of Vasilevo, Radovish, and Berovo, remains active. Since yesterday, alongside local teams, a Czech Black Hawk helicopter and Slovenian firefighting units have been battling the blaze.
Moreover, there are active fires in the municipalities of Kavadarci and Novaci.
