Skopje, 3 September 2024 (MIA) — Out of the eight wildfires reported across the country until earler this afternoon, four are still burning, two have been extinguished, and two have been put under control, according to the Crisis Management Center.

Two forest fires are still burning in the Municipalities of Chashka and Chucher-Sandevo, a bushfire is burning in the Prilep region, and crop residue is burning in the Struga village of Gorno Tateshi.

A bushfire has been localized in the Municipality of Shtip. Also under control is an accidental log fire in the Municipality of Demir Hisar village of Vardino.

The doused fires were in the Municipalities of Gostivar and Prilep. mr/
