CMC: 6 fires still burning, 4 under control
Skopje, 23 July 2025 (MIA) - Out of the 21 wildfires reported across the country, 11 were extinguished by Wednesday afternoon. Six are still burning and four have been put under control, the Crisis Management Center (CMC) said.
The active fires are burning bushfire in the municipalities of Vasilevo, Radovish, Berovo, Chucher Sandevo, Prilep, Zhelino, Tearce and Shtip.
Fires in municipalities of Prilep (2), Makedonski Brod (4) are put under control.
According to the CMC, the fires have been extinguished in the municipalities of Bitola, Demir Kapija, Debar, Bogovinje, Novaci, Kumanovo, and Ohrid.
