CMC: 15 fires still burning, 2 under control
Skopje, 25 July 2025 (MIA) – Out of 28 recorded wildfires in the country, 15 are still active and two are under control, while 11 have been extinguished, the Crisis Management Center (CMC) said Friday evening.
There are active wildfires in the municipalities of Vasilevo, Radovish, Berovo, Prilep, Zhelino, Shtip, Makedonski Brod as well as in Staro Nagorichane in Kumanovo, in Strumica and Veles.
Other fires in Makedonski Brod and Shuto Orizari are under control.
