Cinematheque hosts fourth edition of Silent and Classic Film Festival

Skopje, 10 September 2024 (MIA) - The fourth edition of the Silent and Classic Film Festival kicks off Tuesday at the Cinematheque with a screening of Luis Buñuel's 'An Andalusian Dog'.

The film screening will be accompanied by music from eminent Serbian musician Miloš Stanojević performing on piano, the Cinematheque said in a press release.

The festival's fourth edition will run through September 16. Films on the program also include 'The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie', 'Alice in Wonderland', 'Jean-Marie Straub and Daniéle Huillet at Work on a film based on Franz Kafka's "Amerika"', 'How to Live in the FRG', 'The Girld and the Echo', etc. 

The Silent and Classic Film Festival is supported by the Embassy of Spain, SPONA Serbian Cultural and Information Center in Skopje, Goethe-Institut Skopje, FAME'S Institute Skopje.
