Skopje, 15 September 2025 (MIA) -- Rajko Grlić's "The Constitution" („Ustav Republike Hrvatske“, 2016) will open this year's Croatian Film Days at the Cinematheque, which will show a selection of acclaimed Croatian feature films, shorts and documentaries through Sept. 20.

"The Constitution" is a drama about four people living in the same Zagreb apartment building who are forced to overcome class, ethnic and other prejudices to find their shared humanity.

Also directed by Grlić, "It All Ends Here" („Svemu dođe kraj“, 2024), the film adaptation of Croatian writer Miroslav Krleža’s 1938 novel "On the Edge of Reason," will close the series of screenings.

All films will be shown in Croatian, with English and Macedonian subtitles. 

The Cinematheque is holding Croatian Film Days with the support of the Croatian Audiovisual Center and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia. mr/
