Skopje, 1 December 2023 (MIA) - As of Friday, the national energy provider is reintroducing a cheap electricity rate during off-peak afternoon hours. The lower rate will be charged between 1 pm and 3 pm.

In addition to the cheap daytime rate, consumers will be charged low rates at night (Monday through Saturday between 10 pm and 7 am) and all day Sunday.

According to Energy Regulatory Commission head Marko Bislimoski, lower prices and increased electricity production are thanks to ongoing investments in renewable energy sources. mr/ik/
