Gostivar, 24 April 2024 (MIA) – Caretaker Prime Minister Talat Xhaferi called Wednesday’s elections of special importance since it will define the path of the country after the elections.

“I think that the election campaign participants have managed to convey their messages to get to the will of the citizens,” he stated.

Xhaferi, citing initial information he has been briefed, the election process is without reported disruptions.

“The process of casting votes started on time in all polling stations as it is regulated under the law. It is a call to resume in the same manner, peacefully, until the end of the day so that the citizens can express their will,” he told reporters. 

Xhaferi noted that today’s vote is of special importance. 

“Today’s elections will not elect the new government, but it is vital as to what the path will be of the country after the elections,” he stated.
