Berlin, 11 June 2022 (dpa/MIA) - Bulgaria midfielder Todor Nedelev has undergone surgery after suffering skull and brain injuries in a crash involving the team bus in Georgia. Bulgaria are in Tbilisi for Sunday's Nations League game. "Todor Nedelev's surgery after the serious road accident involving our national team in Tbilisi was successful," a statement from the Bulgarian Football Association said on Saturday. "The midfielder sustained a cranio-cerebral injury, which required surgical intervention. All other players and staff members of Bulgaria are in good health."
