Exhibit of Macedonian and Bulgarian artists' works to open in Brussels

Skopje, 1 May 2023 (MIA) — An exhibition of 18 works by Macedonian and Bulgarian artists titled "Together 2" will open Tuesday at the European Parliament building in Brussels.
According to Bulgarian news portal Fakti, this is the first time that artists from the two countries will be exhibiting their works together at an European Union institution in Brussels.
The participating Macedonian artists are Zhaneta Gelevska Veljanoska, Simonida Filipova Kitanovska, Ilija Kochovski, Aleksandar Stankoski, Zhaklina Gligorievska Kochovska, Marina Cvetanovska Martinovska, Dijana Tomikj Radevska, and Marina Leshkova.
The Bulgarian artists are Snejana Simeonova, Svilen Blajev, Vihrony Popnedelev, Greddy Assa, Nadezhda Kouteva, and Atanas Andasarov.
The exhibition is organized by the Bulgarian Cultural and Information Center in Skopje with the support of Bulgarian MEP and EP rapporteur for North Macedonia Ilhan Kyuchyuk and the Galichnik art colony.
Delegations from both countries are set to attend.
The works on display were first exhibited at the opening of the Bulgarian Cultural and Information Center in Skopje on Nov. 25. The two countries' ministers of culture attended the exhibition, which was opened by the curators Atanas Andasarov and Ana Frangovska. mr/
