Zagreb, 6 February 2024 (Hina/MIA) - Several schools in Zagreb received bomb threats on Thursday, prompting swift action from local authorities. The City of Zagreb and the police confirmed that all students were safe and had been evacuated while bomb disposal experts conducted thorough inspections of the affected schools.

According to Zagreb police, multiple educational institutions received emails overnight warning of potential explosive devices on their premises. Officers were immediately dispatched to the locations, and investigations are under way to determine the credibility of the threats.

In a separate incident, two educational institutions in Požega also received similar threats on Thursday morning, local police reported.

Authorities have assured the public that safety remains their top priority, and security measures have been heightened as investigations continue.
