Skopje, 24 November 2021 (MIA) — Responsibility for the Besa Trans bus crash has to and will be taken, Minister of Transport and Communications Blagoj Bochvarski told Telma TV. The investigation has started and the Customs Administration is expected to release more information tomorrow, including what permit the bus driver showed at the border crossing and what documents the bus carrier had for leaving the country, Minister Bochvarski said. He highlighted he was not running from responsibility but the institutions’ competencies had to be separated, he noted. "We do the administrative work, we issue licenses,” Bochvarski said. “Whether companies work in line with the law, that’s for inspectors to determine. “The Customs Administration, on the other hand, is in charge of the borders. We should turn to them for answers.” “This should be thoroughly investigated and acted upon, without anyone being exempt from responsibility,” he said. mr/
