Bids opened for universal electricity supplier

Skopje, 13 January 2024 (MIA) - In the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia, an expert commission publicly opened the bids Friday for the public call 09-12895/1, aiming to award a contract for the universal supply of electricity, as published on December 11, 2023.
According to the Commission's information, three economic operators submitted their bids by the specified deadline, offering gross margins of 11.4%, 11.4%, and 11.45%, respectively, the government said in a press release.
“EVN Macedonia offered a gross margin of 11.4%, while ESM Sales provided a similar offer. On the other hand, the group of bidders, EDS, Pan Inetrtrade, offered the highest margin of 11.45%,” reads the press release.
The procedure is expected to be completed within six months from the day of the publication in the Official Gazette of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia's decision to initiate the process for selecting a universal electricity supplier, which was published on October 20, 2023. The Commission will make efforts to finalize the evaluation within the next week, and a public auction is scheduled to take place by the end of this month, reads the press release.
