Believers, top officials attend consecration of Church Ss. Constantine and Helena
- The consecration ceremony of the Church of Ss. Constantine and Helena began upon the bell's chime on Sunday morning in downtown Skopje.
Skopje, 28 September 2025 (MIA) - The consecration ceremony of the Church of Ss. Constantine and Helena began upon the bell's chime on Sunday morning in downtown Skopje.

A large number of citizens, believers, top government officials, MPs, representatives of political parties and the diplomatic corps have gathered to attend the ceremony.

The consecration is performed by the Head of the Macedonian Orthodox Church, Archbishop of Ohrid and Macedonia, HH Stefan, alongside numerous hierarchs from the Macedonian Orthodox Church-Ohrid Archbishopric (MOC-OA).

The faithful gathered at the church early this morning.
Believers have also gathered outside the church, where two large video screens have been set up. The ceremony is also being filmed using drone footage.

The construction of the church began in 2012 and lasted 13 years. Construction works intensified in 2024, completing the interior, exterior and surrounding area.
