Tirana, 9 May 2024 (MIA) - The President of Albania, Bajram Begaj, congratulated Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova on her election as president of North Macedonia in a post Thursday on social media platform X.

In the post, Begaj voiced his confidence that the countries will continue to strengthen their relations.

“Congratulations to Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova on being elected as the first female President of North Macedonia. I am confident that together we will continue to strengthen the already excellent relations between our friendly countries, both as NATO members and as future members of the EU, a cause which the Albanian community in North Macedonia remains fully committed to,” Begaj wrote on X.
