Skopje, 20 July 2024 (MIA) — A panel on film education in schools as well as in cultural institutions will be held as part of the 7th Beach Film Festival in Ohrid, organizers said in a press release.

The panel is part of the 'FilmED' project, which aims to train teachers to introduce film education into curricula, organizers said, adding that a web platform will be available to aid them in teaching film to children of different ages.

Panelists include film scholar Damjana Patcheva, Filmaj Classroom head Sasha Stanishikj, Goethe Institut educational cooperation officer Gordana Baboska, BFF festival director Ana Opachikj, Ohrid elementary teacher Ivana Mahovska-Shikaleska, and high school teacher Emilija Ristanovska.

The panel is organized by the Cinematheque and Goethe Institute in Skopje. mr/
