Skopje, 10 December 2024 (MIA) - The Ministry of Local Self-Government and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), supported by the Government of Switzerland, are hosting Tuesday the annual conference on decentralization and local governance.

The conference will focus on local self-government changes for more efficient, responsible and accountable local authorities, local digital transformation and integrated strategic planning at a national and local level, the Ministry of Local Self-Government said in a press release.

The conference will be attended by Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, Minister of Local Self-Government Zlatko Perinski, Association of Local Self-Government Units (ZELS) president and Kisela Voda Mayor Orce Gjorgjievski, Swiss Ambassador Veronique Hulmann, Swedish Ambassador Ami Larsson Jain and UNDP Resident Representative Armen Grigoryan.
