Skopje, 26 June 2022 (MIA) – German author Andreas Steinhöfel’s novel ‘The Center of the World’ has been published in Macedonian by Goten Publishing. It was translated from German by Iva Fidancheva, literary translator and independent associate professor from Skopje, currently based in Leipzig, Germany. ‘The Center of the World’ is a coming of age story about the problems of growing up, puberty, envy and jealousy, friendship and love. The novel was nominated for the German Youth Literature Award. The publication of the novel was supported by the Creative Europe Program of the European Union.
