Skopje, 7 April 2026 (MIA) - Minister of Digital Transformation Stefan Andonovski, as part of the Government delegation for the Strategic Dialogue with the United States in Washington, said Tuesday that discussions tackle the opportunities for support in developing advanced cyber-capacities and strengthening the protection of key state systems, through training, equipment and exchange of expertise.

"The Sttrategic Partnership with the U.S. is an important pillar in advancing the national digital and cyber resilience, and strong support to the reform processes in the field," said Minister Andonovski.

The Strategic Dialogue includes options for strengthened cooperation with relevant U.S. institutions, for the purpose of promoting the national capabilities for prevention, detection and response to cyber-threats, as well as support in the processes of strategic planning and modernization of security systems, the Ministry of Digital Transformation said in a press release.

"This cooperation is fully aligned with the strategic priorities of the Government and the Ministry, including the implementation of the National Cybersecurity Strategy 2025-2028, as well as harmonization with European standards and directives," said Andonovski.
