Kavadarci, 29 August 2023 (MIA) – German Ambassador to North Macedonia Petra Drexler visited the Dräxlmaier production plant in Kavadarci, where she learned about most important moments since the company's foundation to the current and future strategic projects.

During a tour of the company led by director general Lucas Miringer, Amassador Drexler got an overview of the production intended for the premium segment in the automobile industry.

The ambassador was especially interested in speaking with the students who attend practical classes modeled after the German dual-work study program in a specialized classroom within the factory.

"It is good that there are German companies in this country that stand for socially responsible enterprenuership," Ambassador Drexler said.

"The future, or course, is in the hands of young people. I am glad that Dräxlmaier acknowledges that, and through their dual-work study programs contributes to creating perspectives for young people and workforce for the industry," she added.

Dräxlmaier is a German investment operating in North Macedonia for more than 10 years. ssh/mr
