Aliu: Otolaryngology Clinic acquires new medical equipment with TİKA’s support
- Health Minister Azir Aliu alongside the Deputy President of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), Mahmut Çevik, and Turkish Ambassador Fatih Ulusoy, visited Tuesday the Otolaryngology (ENT) University Clinic in Skopje, which has acquired new medical equipment with TİKA’s assistance.
Skopje, 30 September 2025 (MIA) - Health Minister Azir Aliu alongside the Deputy President of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), Mahmut Çevik, and Turkish Ambassador Fatih Ulusoy, visited Tuesday the Otolaryngology (ENT) University Clinic in Skopje, which has acquired new medical equipment with TİKA’s assistance.
“The ENT Clinic has been equipped with new electrosurgical instruments, specifically electrocautery devices, which enable more precise, efficient, and safer tissue dissection and contribute to faster patient recovery. This is significant for the Clinic, considering that over 2.000 interventions are performed annually. Our commitment is to improve the quality of healthcare services at all levels of healthcare, especially at the tertiary level where the most complex cases are treated,” Minister Aliu said.
The head of the Clinic, Dr. Igor Kamshikoski thanked TİKA for the assistance in the efforts to strengthen the healthcare system, the Health Ministry said in a press release.
