Skopje, 25 August 2025 (MIA) -- Health Minister Azir Aliu met Monday with University Clinic of Cardiology director Danica Petkoska Spirova and with University Clinic of Cardiac Surgery director Dejan Dimitrovski, the Ministry of Health said in a press release.

Meeting participants discussed the challenges these two public health care facilities have been facing. They also considered potential ways to improve hospital conditions for patients and working conditions for medical workers.

Both meetings also drew attention to the hospitals' strain from the daily influx of patients with severe cardiovascular damage, the release said. mr/
