Debar, 13 October 2025 (MIA) – There are no local elections on October 19, but a national referendum for dignity and national pride. We stand together to confront the evil and the disparagement of the Albanians that is being done by this Government over the past 12 months. Hristijan Mickoski does not recognize the Ohrid Framework Agreement, the achievements of the Albanians, trampling on the spilled blood and the challenges faced, DUI leader Ali Ahmeti said in a video address at a rally of the DUI-led National Alliance for Integration (NAI) in Debar on Monday evening. 

Ahmeti said the parties in NAI came together to say “enough” to the degradation “from Struga to Lipkovo”.

At the rally, the leader of the Alliance for Albanians, Ziadin Sela, accused VMRO-DPMNE and its “vassals” that they promised European integration, but brought the process to a halt, “bringing the country under Serbia’s influence”.

“The elections on October 19, in which we will win a major victory, are a referendum in which Mickoski will receive the answer that we choose our representatives, not those he owns. We will tell him that we make the decisions for our children, for our future, for our language,” Sela stressed.
