Skopje, 23 June 2025 (MIA) - The time when we lost hope is now gone. Macedonia can move forward. A person cannot make a difference alone, but we can all make history together, said Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski on Monday.

PM Mickoski told an event on the Government's one year in office that the foundations are built "stone by stone, for a Macedonia that we love, Macedonia that we deserve and a Macedonia that we are proud of".

"When I look into the eyes of the people I meet every day, I know I must do everything so they can have a better life. This is how I see Macedonia - with love and responsibility. Changes cannot happen overnight, but every day we invest is a step closer to a Macedonia we can be proud of. I cannot promise perfection and miracles, but sincerity and perseverance in the struggle for you and the future you deserve," said Mickoski.

We are not politicians speaking from a higher ground, he added, but people living among you, feeling the same fears and sharing the same hopes.

"Macedonia is more than a country, it is our home, our family, our dream. This year was only the beginning, the start of the consolidation process after seven years of problems and destruction, disappointment and lost hope. Macedonia's time is coming, and this is not only a slogan - it is our task. For those who believe this country deserves better, for you and your family, for the future, for a Macedonia that will be yours again", underlined Mickoski.
