Skopje, 4 October 2025 (MIA) – Multimedia performances, exhibits, concerts and literary readings will take place Saturday night as part of the 21st White Night festival, held annually every first Saturday in October and organized by Universal Hall and the City of Skopje. Entrance for all events is free.
“The whole city will serve as one huge art scene available for all the citizens. ‘White Night’ is a symbol of Skopje’s cultural openness – a night where the streets are filled with art, inspiration and hanging out. The aim is to connect the citizens and artists in celebration of creativity and the cultural spirit of our capital,” organizers said.
Events will take place in several venues, including the Museum of the City of Skopje, Youth Cultural Center, Cultural and Information Center, Children’s Cultural Center, the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle and the Koco Racin Cultural Center.
The Franco-German project "Old Skopje Bazaar: Visions of the Future" will be presented in Suli An - a presentation of multimedia creations created by students of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, the Faculty of Fine Arts, the Faculty of Philosophy, the Faculty of Philology and the Faculty of Architecture in Skopje. The program includes creative videos, a photo exhibition, historical narratives, literary readings and architectural projects for the future of the old bazaar. Afterwards, Suli An will host an electronic music concert "Paris-Berlin-Skopje" with sets by three DJs.
