1,013,375 people eligible to vote in local election runoff, 4,826 sick and infirm registered to cast ballots
Skopje, 31 October 2025 (MIA) - A total of 1,013,375 people are eligible to cast their votes in the local election runoff set to take place on Sunday - November 2. Voters will elect mayors in 32 municipalities and the City of Skopje, and a re-vote for municipal councillors will be organized in three polling stations in the Municipality of Shuto Orizari.
According to the State Election Commission (SEC), 4,826 sick and infirm people have registered to vote in Sunday's runoff, with the most registered in Kichevo - 823.
The infirm, inmates and people in house arrest will cast their votes on Saturday.
A total of 1,598 international and foreign observers will monitor the November 2 runoff of the 2025 local elections, including 933 foreign and 651 international observers.
